Delaware Assembly Introduces Bill to Amend Business License Code

A bill was introduced last week in the State of Delaware General Assembly to amend the Delaware code relating to business licenses. House Bill No. 213 would add a new subsection to the code stating “every person holding any State license authorizing the conduct of any business, trade or vocation shall have such license information conspicuously displayed on any advertising.” The purpose of this bill is to help prevent unlicensed businesses from operating in Delaware as well as assisting to identify any businesses that are not in compliance with Delaware’s business licensing laws.
