In May 2009 Lincoln County, NV voted a new ordinance requiring business owners to pay a $40 fee to obtain their business license. The business license is required not only for permanent businesses but for outside vendors too. The county has received only 75 business license payments by August 3rd 2009, and is working hard to inform more business owners of the new business license requirement.
