The City of Petaluma, CA is offering amnesty to unlicensed business owners from September 1st through October 30th. During this period the city will waive all fines and allow business to get their businesses licenses up to date without facing a penalty. The city is implementing the grace period in conjunction with a review of Petaluma’s business license tax ordinance. If businesses do not bring their licenses up to date during the grace period they could be fined up to $1,000.
