An indoor farmer’s market in Park City, Utah has been closed by Summit County for failure to obtain a mass event business license for the 20 vendor market. Summit County requires an individual business license for most businesses. Farmer’s markets are recognized as mass events and have a license fee of $2,500. Licensing the market as a whole is meant to make the licensing process easier by not requiring each vendor at the market to have their own individual business license.
