March and April are certain to be a busy couple of months for the city of Moberly, Missouri Finance Department. Business license renewals were sent out on March 12 and businesses have until May 1 to return them. The department has already received over 100 renewals, but expect many more the next several weeks.
Moberly issues three types of business licenses. The first type of license is for businesses that aren’t retail stores, electricians or plumbers. Another type is a license for electricians and plumbers, and the third type is for retail merchants. The licenses vary in cost ranging from $10 to $150 per year.
