The city of Brockton, MA revoked a license of a used-car lot after officials discovered the business had not been following proper protocol. The License Commission learned the business was failing to properly maintain its used vehicle registry, which is required by state law.
Records show that about half of the vehicles that were supposed to be on the property weren’t and that some that weren’t listed were at the property. Neighboring businesses and residents also complained about junky cars creating an eyesore in the area.
