The city council of Fox Lake, Illinois, has granted a Class B fermented malt beverage and intoxicating liquor license to Mary Haislmaier for the period ending June 30, the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen has reported.
Haislmaier applied for the license to operate Flashbacks Bar and Grill after the city council previously voted to deny her a liquor license during a special city council meeting held last month.
The short-term license has only been agreed to on the provision that certain contingencies are met. These include the surrender of a license issued to Cynthia Wyskochil for Flashbacks as well as the payment of all money owed to the city.
Council members voiced concerns about repairs to a sidewalk in front of the bar and personal property taxes owed to the city by Charles Wyskochil.
Meanwhile, the city council also granted a picnic license to the Fox Lake Chamber of Commerce for a concert in Riverside Park in June.
