Business denied license after paying too much sales tax

A business denied a license in Missouri for allegedly not paying sales tax has actually paid too much.

News portal EMissourian.com reported that Buchheit Automotive has now been issued a business license after previously been refused one on false allegations of failing to pay the state sales tax fee.

Instead, the Missouri business had actually paid too much.

Joseph Graves, community development director, told EMissourian.com, “They had an overage of sales tax, but somebody at the Department of Revenue called it a negative and cancelled their license.”

Buchheit Automotive was finally given its license after a hearing uncovered the error.
