Less than one week left to apply for Fayetteville business license

There is just under a week left for businesses in Fayetteville, North Carolina to register for a Fayetteville business license.

Since registration began in early August, nearly all businesses in the area have been required to apply within the three-month window.

Speaking to the Fayetteville Flyer, Cory Whorten, office manager for the city’s development services division, stated that he had currently received 2,401 applications.

“It’s a lot for sure,” commented Mr. Whorton, “My desk is full right now.”

Business can apply and pay for a Fayetteville license by either submitting its application alongside a payment online for discounted rate, or by submitting a printed application with payment by mail or in person.

Fayetteville council is advising business owners to apply online to take advantage of available discounts.

Business with multiple locations inside the Fayetteville city limits will need to file a separate application with fees for each location.

Penalties for failing to submit an application will begin after  October 31st.
