Business Licenses and Permits

Businesses in the City of Bayonne, New Jersey are being reminded to renew their licenses.

The deadline for business license renewal in the city is Tuesday, January 31.

Locals with business licenses for pet shops, laundromats, dry cleaners, food-dispensing trucks, vending machines, restaurants, delicatessens and other food establishments must renew prior to the deadline.

Residents with pet licenses must also renew prior to the deadline and present a form declaring that animals have been vaccinated against rabies.

Failing to submit a business license by the deadline will result in a $50 late fee, while those who do not submit their pet license will receive a $25 fine.

Residents are also reminded to renew their annual parking permits for the red, yellow and green zones.

Persons that live in the specified zones will receive new blue and white citywide permit stickers and guest hangtags, which will allow parking in all residential parking zones.
