Eureka officials suspend motor companies license

The Board of Aldermen in Eureka, California has suspended the business license of Fifth Street Motors.

City officials have been working with the company over the past few months regarding permanent building inspection requirements, Eureka-Wildwood Patch reported.

After not all St.Louis County inspection approvals were gained by the required date of January 17th, aldermen had to suspend Fifth Street Motors’ license until final occupancy inspections and approvals have occurred.

Previously, the company had been granted a 90-day extension before aldermen voted on the final extension that has now expired.

Fifth Street representative, Don Nagle, told aldermen that they had abandoned their original modular structure and had moved into a new building. However, board alderman Bob Kee stated that the business still did not have final inspection approval and an occupancy permit.

Once this is obtained, officials hope that they will be able to restore the license to the company.

Eureka is also currently in the process of implementing their Strategic Visioning Plan, which will help guide the city to a prosperous future over the next few years.
